Normal Opening Times
We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm.
Extended Access Opening Times
We have extended opening times on Mondays 7.30am to 8am and 6.30pm to 8pm, and on Wednesdays 7.30am to 8am
There will only be one or two GPs in surgery at these times and appointments must be booked in advance. They may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Please ask one of our receptionists for details.
Prescriptions: We regret that prescriptions may not be requested or collected at this time in our extended opening times, this service is only available during our standard opening times.
Weekend and Evening Appointments

Pre-bookable evening and weekend appointments with a local GP are available from 6pm to 8pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays 10 to 2pm at Bath Street Health and Wellbeing Centre. Easily accessible, the Health and Wellbeing Centre is in the town centre and has links to public transport on the town’s main bus routes.
To access these appointments please call us and we will arrange the appointment for you. Please be aware that you will need to consent to share your medical record with the service.

Protected Learning Time
The surgery will close from 1.00pm on the last Thursday of every month. This is for training and education of staff and doctors.

For health information and advice, or if you need medical help fast when we are closed telephone 111. NHS 111 is the number to call when you need medical help fast but it’s not a life-threatening emergency.
